Ah looks like Sata by M.2 isn't supported by the board so that's not the issue. The test you were running was it using small or large packets? If I understand it right the larger the data tested/dealt with on the drive the batter. Also they normally post top speed under peak conditions. Getting below that, while annoying, is normal.
